Educational Missions
Ortho HI regularly sends books and other learning materials for use of students, residents, and attendings, for their use as they take care of their patients in resource-poor settings. The ability to get up-to-date information is important for medical workers, and Ortho HI aims to help bridge this gap. Ortho HI also plans trips to the Philippines to organize teaching sessions as well as preceptorships aimed at expanding the knowledge of learners, here, in the Philippines, and everywhere else where the regular care of indigent patients occurs.
