Surgical Missions
Ortho HI organizes surgical missions in collaboration with local medical centers and hospitals, as well as local surgeons, to make sure that care is continuous and that patients are followed well post-procedures. Information exchange also is encouraged, as it is clear that techniques vary per region, and that local resources can often dictate prevalent surgical processes. Materials and needs for surgeries and procedures are also sent to various medical centers and hospitals needing them in order to help indigent patients who cannot afford them.
